PPL pilots are short of airspace in the Netherlands. From Teuge to Texel via Antwerp and back again. As a result, flying quickly loses all its adventure and the motivation to keep your skills up drops off.
That's why Yyello Air offers flight packages in locations that give the GA more airspace. In France, America and South Africa for example. New destinations are being finalized and will be operational in 2004.
The first packages will be available in South Africa. You can take part with a group of 2 to 20 people (and fly from 1 to 9 planes).

South Africa (SA) packages: 1 + 3 levels
Yyello Air offers this packages at 1 basic + 3 levels.
NEW: The Basic Recurrent Package
(YY-SA-BASIC): This safari is ideal for recurrent training
and building your flying confidence and flying skills. Low time
pilots will be accompanied by a safety pilot, but will log pic
left seat time. Higher time pilots may pilot themselves and
their partners.
Improved flying skills will include navigation on all levels,
low level flight, mountain flying, escarpment flying, high density
altitude flying, loose formation flying, aerial photography
tips, spot landings, forced and precautionary landings, ground
reference observation, emergency procedures, practical application
of learned theory, general handling and unusual attitudes, inadvertent
imc. (code YY-SA-BASIC)
At package 1 (YY-SA1) the emphasis is on self flying
and only on flying. We are talking about a very adventurous
flying holiday that will really improve your piloting skills.
This holiday (including compulsory validation) lasts no less
than 11 days. (code YY-SA1)
 Package
2 (YY-SA2) is more luxurious. Self flying but with more
time in one place. You arrive at a lodge and stay for 2 nights.
This gives you the chance to make extensive game drives. The
lodges are breathtaking and you make the journey through Botswana
yourself. This is a super de luxe flying safari holiday that
lasts no less than 14 days. (code YY-SA2)
Package 3 (YY-SA3) is like pacakage YY-SA2, only you
do not fly yourself. We supply the pilots. Read more about this

Self flying
YY-Air Safaris: Self flying based on an all inclusive package:
flight and transfer to the holiday's starting point, instruction,
validation (if necessary), route and flight planning, supervision,
plane rental and insurance.
